SheepShaver V2.2 Installation and User's Guide (Windows)
Introduction
SheepShaver is a MacOS run-time environment enabling Windows and Linux operating systems
to run MacOS applications. SheepShaver runs with varying degree of functionality on the
following systems:
- Windows 2000, NT, XP
This guide will only cover installation on x86 Windows systems.
Some of the information will, however, apply to other installations too.

Some of SheepShaver's features
- Compatibility: SheepShaver runs MacOS 8.5 through 9.0.4 with all system
extensions like AppleGuide, AppleScript, QuickTime, QuickTime VR,
QuickDraw 3D, Open Transport, PPP, Language Kits, ColorSync, etc.
- SheepShaver does support some Native
QuickDraw acceleration, Copy-Paste of text between MacOS and the host
OS.
- Color video display. The MacOS user interface is displayed in an
window or full-screen (not available)
- Sound: CD-quality stereo sound output (reported to work on Mac OS
9.0.4)
- Access to floppy disks, CD-ROMs, HFS(+) partitions on hard disks and
hard files.
- Data Exchange: You can access Windows files from the MacOS via a "My
Computer" icon on the Mac desktop
