Requirements

• A machine with an appropriate host OS (see introduction)
   
• A Mac OS Rom file:
  • You should extract the rom image file from a PCI PowerMac you own
  • You can also download the Mac OS ROM Update file from Apple, but this requires you to unpack the ROM file (Read this how-to)
  • SheepShaver can also use the "Mac OS ROM" file that comes with MacOS 8.5/8.6 (look in the System Folder on your MacOS CD), but you have to copy it from the cd first. (Read this how-to)
     
• A supported Mac OS (see introduction)
